ORTHOPEDIC SURGEON

Serving Patients in McKinney, Allen, Frisco, and Surrounding Areas

Dr. W. Barry Humeniuk trained first as a family doctor, then surgeon. Dr. Humeniuk focuses his medical care on high quality rather than high volume. He personally sees each patient at every visit, which is why so many doctors send their families to him. A skilled and respected surgeon with experience as chief of orthopedic surgery for both Medical Center of Plano and Presbyterian Hospital of Plano, his specialties include fractures, arthroscopies, sports medicine, bone/joint infections and tumors. He is one of only a few local doctors trained to treat rare, difficult problems such as hip dysplasia, clubfeet, brachial plexus injuries and Olliers/Maffucci’s disease.

William Barry Humeniuk, M.D., brings a level of specialized experience to orthopedic surgery that is unrivaled in the McKinney area. With roots as a family physician, Dr. Humeniuk now specializes in pediatric orthopedics, sports medicine and orthopedic trauma, and is one of the only area physicians with experience treating rare disorders such as hip dysplasia, clubfeet, brachial plexus injuries and Ollier’s/Maffucci’s disease.

In addition to these specialties, Dr. Humeniuk is one of few doctors in the U.S. trained in Ganz osteotomies, leg-lengthenings and vascularized bone grafts. Dr. Humeniuk’s medical peer have repeatedly voted him one of the Best Doctors in Dallas.

Dr. Humeniuk, who is certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery, completed both medical school and residency at the University of Toronto in Canada.
